As a laptop user, your laptop probably spends of your time on the couch, in the office or library, and in bed before or after you go to sleep, right? Well, that could damage your laptop and your health.

I get upset every time someone uses a laptop in bed and places the device on thick blankets and quilts. The soft material shapes the laptop and blocks vents designed to dissipate the internal heat. Not only that, but the air intakes suck excess dust from the blanket and cause dust to build up (i.e. poor airflow through the laptop).
Laptop trays provide a hard, flat surface for your laptop to prevent clogged vents and minimize dust inhalation. This means less frequent dust removal, less chance of your laptop overheating, better laptop performance, and longer device life.
adjust posture
Laptops are not ergonomic. If you're using it on your legs, you'll need to look down, which can put pressure on your neck. If you raise the laptop to eye level, the keyboard is too high and your wrists are strained. And, when using your laptop on the couch or bed, all the comfortable positions are bad for your spine - too much flexion, not enough support.
Laptop trays are also not great for posing, but there are many better options. The flexibility of the stand allows you to tilt the base of the laptop for wrist safety, tilt the screen to avoid looking down and sit upright and use the device comfortably. Plus, a laptop cradle minimizes posture-related computer fatigue.
