Proper computer desk height is an important aspect of working on a computer. After all, if your desk isn't the right height, and your other accessories aren't adjusted properly, you could be causing wrist, arm, neck, or back pain or discomfort due to poor ergonomics. It's important that your computer desk is at the correct height relative to the chair you're sitting on to ensure comfort at your desk every time you sit. Table height
Depending on the model and brand, the height of the computer desk should be about 20 to 28 inches off the ground. In other words, when seated, the table should reach your elbows. Legroom

Adding an ergonomic footrest under the desk can reduce lower back discomfort and thigh pressure.
Working surface width and depth
In addition to the height, your computer desk should also meet certain width requirements to ensure an efficient, comfortable workstation. To accommodate the average width of a chair, your computer desk should be at least 24 to 27 inches wide. Anything smaller than 24 inches restricts your range of motion when seated, makes the desk less comfortable, and provides little usable desk space. The desk should be deep enough so that the monitor is no closer than 20 inches from your face when you are working on the desk.
Computer desk and chair height

To maintain proper posture in a computer chair, keep your feet firmly on the ground to avoid any ankle problems on the road. The back should be straight with the shoulders facing forward.
